Pisith Hoen passed away with cancer in December 2005, and the Hess Cancer Foundation was able to help them cover costs. They were the first family that the Hess Cancer Foundation helped.

Brenda Trujillo passed away with cancer in August of 2006. The Hess Cancer Foundation was able to help her family with funeral costs. A close friend of Brenda's Mother typed the letter below about Brenda.

 During 2007 the Hess Cancer Foundation helped 3 families. Joanna Ojeda's family was one of them. This is a copy of her obituary.

 Andre Soriano also lost his fight with cancer. His family was also helped by HCF during 2007.

During February of 2008, HCF helped the Benyon family with Tony's obituary.
